Taking a Japanese bath is quite different from the way westerners do it. The main thing is that we wash ourselves outside the tub. The tub itself is just for soaking. We do not ever soap ourselves inside the tub. And we are careful to rinse all the suds off before we get into tub. Other people use the tub after we do, and there must not be any soapsuds in the water.
Japanese bath water is quite clean, because we have already washed and rinsed ourselves before getting into it. The tub is deep, and the water is hot. We enjoy just soaking in it. It is so relaxing.蛇口
A Japanese bathroom usually has a tiled floor with a drain in it. There are faucets on the wall close to the floor. We sit on a low stool to wash, and we rinse the soap off with small buckets.
Contemporary bathrooms usually have a shower too, and that can be used for rinsing.絵文字名を入力してください

Since the end of World War Two, we have not had a draft system in Japan. According to the constitution adopted at the time, the Japanese people renounce war forever and are forbidden from maintaining armed forces. And, therefore, there is no draft. But because there is a viewpoint that Japan must have a defense capability against aggression, there are self -defense forces. Membership is voluntary.
In the self-defense forces, there are roughly a quater million members. Most of these belong to the Ground Self-Defense Force. There is also a Maritime Self-defense Force and Air Self-defense Force. The annual defense budget is about 50 billion dollars, which ranks as the fifth largest in the world.
The self-defense forces are well equipped with advanced defesive weapons. There is some disagreement among Japanese about what the extent of these arms should be. But Japanese would agree that the ban on nuclear weapons should be maintained.

In 2007, the per capita income was 37,670 dollars. Its annual growth rate in recent years has been steady despite the ups and downs of the economy. Our per capita income is now one of the highest in the world. But it may be misleading to campare us with some western countries since our cost of living is so much higher.$
The gross national domestic product was about 4.4 trillion dollars. As with the per capita income, our GDP has been rather high.
According to the 2007 figures, the Japanese GDP was the second highest, following the United States. It is useful comparison for us because it helps us to see how we are using resources, population, and skills.財布

'Daruma' is the Japanese version of Dharma, the Indian Buddhist saint of the 6th century, who is believed to have been sitting on a large stone in meditation for nine years, and in consequence of which his limbs were numbed and he became unable to walk.
The name now mainly refers to a red paper-made doll, representing the saint in meditation. The doll has weight added to its bottom so that it always bobs up again whenever it is knocked over. Since it suggests invincible will power, it it often used as a mascot for good luck by merchants and politicians who hope for success in spite of difficulties. アイコン名を入力してください
